Abayomi Rotimi Mighty, Nigerian Presidential Aspirant for 2027 Elections

Abayomi Mighty, a presidential hopeful for the 2027 elections, has condemned the recent spate of killings in Plateau State and other parts of Nigeria, describing the security situation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as “a tragic failure of leadership and national protection.”

Speaking at an event in Ogun State, Abayomi Mighty expressed deep sorrow over the renewed attacks in Bokkos and Mangu LGAs that left scores dead, homes burnt, and families displaced within the past weeks.

“Nigeria has become a killing field where human lives no longer hold value under this administration. Communities are massacred while leaders issue recycled condolences without decisive action,” Abayomi Mighty lamented.

He described Tinubu’s security architecture as ineffective, stating that despite yearly multi-trillion-naira defence budgets, banditry, terrorism, communal violence, and kidnapping have escalated, with no strategic national security overhaul or accountability framework.

Abayomi Mighty stated emphatically that his presidency will prioritise the sanctity of every Nigerian life through:

A Comprehensive National Security Reform, restructuring the nation’s security architecture for intelligence-driven operations.

State Policing Frameworks to empower local security structures and community policing for rapid response.

Defence Budget Accountability Mechanisms, ensuring military spending translates to effective security equipment, welfare, and operations.

Rural Security Marshal Programmes to protect vulnerable agrarian communities from attacks.

“Leadership without the capacity to protect its citizens is a betrayal of constitutional duty. Under my presidency, no Nigerian life will be treated as expendable. We will secure every village, town, and city with structured policies rooted in intelligence, technology, and collaboration,” he stated firmly.

Abayomi Mighty also commiserated with families who have lost loved ones, praying for divine comfort and calling on Nigerians to demand leadership that protects lives above political power games.

“It is time for a leadership that treats security as a sacred trust, not political rhetoric. We owe every Nigerian child, woman, and man the right to life and dignity,” he concluded.
