Abayomi Rotimi Mighty, a frontline Presidential Aspirant in the 2027 Elections

Abayomi Mighty, Nigeria’s leading 2027 presidential aspirant, has called for a complete redefinition of public service leadership, stating that Nigeria’s progress is hinged on leaders who see public office as a sacred trust, not a personal entitlement.

Speaking during a leadership capacity development forum in Lagos, Abayomi Mighty lamented that public service in Nigeria has been reduced to an avenue for wealth accumulation and prestige rather than a platform for sacrificial national development.

He stated, “Public service leadership is not about titles, convoy lengths, or social media fame. It is about stewardship, humility, and commitment to solving people’s problems with integrity and competence.”

Abayomi Mighty emphasised four critical pillars of public service leadership under his presidency:

Servanthood: Leadership rooted in humility, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility towards citizens rather than ruling over them with arrogance or disregard.

Visionary Policy Execution: Moving beyond beautiful speeches to implementing actionable policies that transform lives and build generational impact.

Integrity and Accountability: Ensuring that leaders remain custodians of public trust through transparency, ethical decision-making, and courage to act rightly even when it is unpopular.

Institutional Strengthening: Building strong institutions that outlive individual leaders, anchored on clear systems, processes, and accountability frameworks.

Abayomi Mighty stated that under his leadership, public office holders will undergo continuous leadership training, performance audits, and moral reorientation programmes to cultivate a culture of service excellence.

“Public office is not a throne to sit on; it is a platform to bend low and lift millions into prosperity, security, and dignity. Nigeria will only rise when public service becomes true servant leadership,” he declared.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to elect leaders who embody these timeless principles, noting that nations do not develop by chance but by visionary and sacrificial leadership committed to institutional transformation.
