Abayomi Rotimi Mighty, 2027 Elections Presidential Aspirant

Abayomi Mighty, Nigeria’s leading 2027 presidential contender, has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s recent use of the Aso Villa for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee meeting, describing it as an abuse of state facilities and a violation of governance ethics.

Speaking during a political accountability briefing in Abuja, Abayomi Mighty stated that the Presidency is the seat of national unity, dignity, and service to all Nigerians, not a private venue for partisan consolidation or political showmanship.

He said, “The Aso Villa is not the APC secretariat, neither is it a reunion ground for political cliques. It is the symbol of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, built and maintained by taxpayers for national leadership, not partisan purposes.”

He stated that under his presidency, Nigeria will witness a clear separation between political party operations and state functions, in line with international best practices.

“Leadership must be bigger than party loyalty. The presidency is a sacred trust for all Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation. I will not turn Aso Villa into my party office. It will remain the national seat of people-centred leadership,” he declared.

Abayomi Mighty criticised the Tinubu administration’s political culture of “government capture for party supremacy”, stating that Nigeria’s challenges require leaders who prioritise national cohesion over partisan entrenchment.

“Our people are hungry, insecure, and impoverished. Leadership at this time demands sacrificial service and national healing, not political elitism in state houses,” Abayomi Mighty affirmed.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to elect leaders who honour national institutions, uphold ethical governance, and serve all citizens with fairness and dignity, noting that a nation cannot rise when its presidency becomes a party secretariat.
