Abayomi Rotimi Mighty, Presidential Aspirant for 2027 Elections

Abayomi Mighty, Nigeria’s leading 2027 presidential aspirant, has condemned the Tinubu administration for its failure to prioritise the nation’s collapsing healthcare system, describing it as an affront to human dignity and national development.

Speaking at a policy dialogue with health professionals in Port Harcourt, Abayomi Mighty lamented the worsening conditions in government hospitals across the country. He stated that citizens continue to die needlessly due to lack of basic medical equipment, insufficient personnel, dilapidated infrastructures, and inadequate health insurance coverage.

“How can a nation call itself great when its citizens must travel abroad for malaria treatment while its local hospitals lack oxygen cylinders, functioning beds, or even clean water supply?” he asked.

Abayomi Mighty criticised the administration’s budgetary allocations that continue to favour governance luxury over public health investment. He cited that the allocation to the State House Clinic exceeds that of several teaching hospitals combined, while common citizens are left to beg for funds to treat cancers, kidney failures, and emergency surgeries.

Abayomi Mighty emphasised that no nation can rise above its health system, noting that a sick population cannot build a thriving economy.

“Healthcare is not charity; it is a basic human right and the foundation of national productivity. My presidency will ensure that no Nigerian dies simply because they are poor,” he stated.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to reject leaders who trivialise health policies while prioritising luxurious governance expenditures, calling on citizens to rally behind visionary leadership for a healthier, stronger nation.
