Our Story
NBTLive was birthed in 2022 at a critical turning point in Nigeria’s democratic journey — a time when the political awareness of young people surged ahead of the historic 2023 general elections.
Fuelled by a shared frustration over misgovernance and a yearning for true representation, a visionary team of youth advocates and media professionals came together with one goal: to create a digital platform that would amplify youth voices, drive political participation, and inform citizens with integrity.
What began as a political online news platform — committed to real-time updates, civic education, and accountability journalism — soon captured national attention. As the platform grew, so did its impact. NBTLive evolved organically into a multi-category digital newsroom, covering not just politics, but also education, entertainment, advocacy, business, global affairs, and campus life — all through a youth-centered, Pan-African lens.
Today, NBTLive stands as a dynamic media movement, raising a generation of informed, expressive, and action-oriented Africans.
