Abayomi Rotimi Mighty, 2027 Elections Presidential Aspirant

In a powerful statement that echoes the frustrations of millions of ordinary citizens, public interest advocate and political reformist Abayomi Mighty has broken his silence on the state of the nation, condemning what he describes as “gross insensitivity at the highest level of governance.”

According to Abayomi Mighty, while President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appears to be strategizing for another term in office, the real condition of the people remains dire and shameful for any sitting administration to overlook.

“It is appalling,” Abayomi said, “that while Nigerians are battling inflation, epileptic electricity, fuel scarcity, and worsening insecurity, those in power are more concerned about retaining political positions than delivering on their primary responsibility — service to the people.”

A Bleeding Nation

Abayomi noted that the rate of poverty, youth unemployment, and rural neglect is climbing at an alarming pace. He described Nigeria as a “bleeding nation that needs emergency intervention — not political gamesmanship.”

He also criticized the continued borrowing spree by the Federal Government without tangible improvements in infrastructure, education, or healthcare.

“The masses are groaning. Businesses are collapsing. Security is weak. Our farmers can’t access their land, and our students are being driven out of classrooms by economic realities. These are not mere statistics; these are real lives,” he emphasized.

Leadership Should Not Be About Re-election

Addressing the President directly, Abayomi Mighty remarked that “true statesmanship is not measured by how long one stays in power, but by the legacy left behind.”

He challenged all political leaders, regardless of party, to re-evaluate their conscience and reconnect with the soul of the nation, stressing that governance should be about generational impact, not electoral advantage.

Call for National Soul-Searching

In conclusion, Abayomi Mighty called for a “national soul-searching movement” where both leaders and followers recommit to the principles of justice, equity, transparency, and patriotism.

“We can no longer normalize pain. We cannot glorify failure in the name of politics. The soul of Nigeria is crying out, and we must rise beyond propaganda and personal ambition to truly serve.”
