Corruption has taken root in our contracts, in our education system, in our justice system, and even in our moral compass.
“A government that fails to remember its widows, has failed its people. Our mothers, who have sacrificed everything, must never be abandoned. They deserve protection, empowerment, and opportunity,” Mighty said.
"We can no longer afford to be mired in the politics of survival. This is a moment for the politics of revival."
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the statesman decried the unbearable suffering that has engulfed homes and hearts across the nation.
“You cannot underfund education, overburden teachers, and ignore curriculum relevance — then expect excellence.
“Every kobo borrowed must be defended in clear, public terms. What are we borrowing for? Who benefits? Where is the return on investment?”
“A single airport upgrade consuming such vast public wealth in a time of national economic fragility is not just wasteful — it is wicked,” Mighty declared.
