The statement said, “The arrest was made on Friday, July 18, 2025, following a distress call received by NSCDC operatives.”
The governor added that “This is a process that began seven to eight months ago, and today, by the grace of Allah, we have concluded it.”
The NNPP primary election was held on Saturday at the party’s local government secretariat in Babura, while the APC primary took place at the Duplex in Babura.
The initiative aims to equip journalists and stakeholders with vital tools to drive impactful change and tackle child malnutrition in Jigawa State.
