The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has called off its strike, according to the Minister of Health, Ali Pate.
Nigerian nurses will commence a nationwide strike today to demand improved welfare, fair allowances, and better working conditions for nurses.
“They now want to use personnel of the force against the Nigerian Police Force, and this is a failed attempt,” he said.
